Under the grant theme “Exploring New Values for Society” , the Toyota Foundation supported research projects over the nine years from 2011 to 2019.
This report is the product of that review, and the main objectives are to summarize the results and ripple effects achieved through the nine years of funding as well as the issues that have been identified.
In reviewing the grant program, we have attempted to provide a summary that is based on multifaceted opinions by including feedback from diverse perspectives, including  a dialogue with the past chairs of the selectioncommittee, grant recipients and outside experts. Please see the report below.
