This video provides an overview of the general health/healthcare administration system that should be understood at the beginning of training program in Japan, with a particular focus on the system, structure, and organizational roles and functions of health and medical system in Japan.

The health-related training programs in Japan often include lectures on Japan's health and medical care system in areas such as maternal and childhealth, infectious diseases control etc, but do not cover the general health/healthcare administration system. This video provides an easy-to-understand overview of Japan's health/healthcare administration system, its structure, and the roles and functions of its organizations, so that trainees can gain an accurate understanding of Japan's health and medical care system. Therefore, it is recommended that this video be used at the initial stage of training program in Japan. This is the updated edition of the originally developed in 2007, which has been revised to meet the current situation.
