Grants for the 2013 Research Grant Program and the 2013 International Grant Program Determined

At the eighteenth meeting of the Toyota Foundation Board of Directors, held on September 26, 2013, grants were approved for 33 projects under the Research Grant Program (totaling 100 million yen), and 20 projects under the International Grant Program (totaling 60 million yen).
The Research Grant Program called for applications under the basic theme of "Exploring Knowledge to Build a Better Future". This year, we received the total of 637 applications.
The International Grant Program called for applications under the basic theme of "Toward Solutions Through Mutual Learning: Issues That Emerging Southeast Asia And Japan Share". This year, we received the total of 175 applications.
